Chicago Select Golf Invitational CELEBRATES 30 YEARS of Impact at Medinah Country Club – August 18 – All Three Golf Courses SOLD OUT!
CHICAGO, Aug. 14, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- One of the nation's premier charity golf events, Chicago Select Golf Invitational marks its 30th anniversary on Monday, August 18, 2025, at the prestigious Medinah Country Club. This milestone year offers golfers a rare chance to play the recently renovated Course #3, host of the 2026 Presidents Cup, while directly supporting life-saving cancer research.
Founded in 1995 by longtime American Cancer Society supporter Keith Bank of KB Partners, the event has raised over $27 million, with 100% of proceeds going directly to cancer research. The Executive Committee has set a bold goal of raising $2 million this year—its largest target ever.
"This event is personal," said Bank. "In 2023, I heard the words, 'you have cancer.' Since then, I've redoubled my commitment to help find a cure. I invite you to join us—your presence, passion, and support matter now more than ever."
The day begins with staggered shotgun starts at 11:00 a.m. across Medinah's three world-class courses, followed by a cocktail reception, inspiring dinner program, and exclusive auctions. Participants will enjoy premium player gifts, on-course meals, and networking with top business and philanthropic leaders from across Chicagoland.
This year's keynote mission speaker is Eddie Olczyk, Turner Sports' NHL lead analyst, Stanley Cup champion, and stage III colon cancer survivor, who will share his powerful personal story.
